SpaceAce 1,058 Posted February 17, 2014 Share Posted February 17, 2014 Honey, I'm a student in filmmaking and I can operate professional cameras and be employed as director of photography, so I damn know what a cinematographer is I was just pointing out the fact that people usually don't know what this kind of technical stuff actually refers to, and that I find it funny that as soon as Bad Romance is being thrown in the discussion, everybody is suddenly fangurling for the profession   Sorry, the way you worded your op sounded different. You don't have to be a film student to be excited about good cinematography - I'm sure most people in this thread know what a good dp means for the video and are simply excited.
