elijahfan 26,303 Posted February 15, 2014 Author Share Posted February 15, 2014 It was a great tour but it would have been MUCH better if she did it with more help and with people who are actually prepared for that, and who have their job as a stage producers and designers and not some people from Haus who work on everything from outfits, single covers, wigs to stage designing. ... but the stage was designed by Mark Fisher, who was considered the greatest stage designer before he past away recently. Her single covers are always made by professional photographers (Klein, Nick Knight, Inez & Vinoodh... none of them is part of the Haus). As for the BTWBall costumes, some were made by the Haus, true, but most of them were made by names like Armani, Versace, Christian Lacroix, Moschino, Salvatore Salamone.... well in America no one even knows who she is lol ... but America isn't the only place in the world, right? Kylie isn't the first (nor the last) to play with Grecian themes. Sure, but her tour is only 2 years old. Venus and Aphrodite are the same Goddess, depending on which side you look at it - Greek or Roman. Greco-Roman mythology is the same mythology, with very little local differences. Thank you for defending Kylie by the way I'm seeing a lot of ignorant comments here - not knowing who she is doesn't mean the rest of the world doesn't. But what can we do? It's just an American way of thinking. The idea that they're the only relevant people in the world. As much as I love the US (I'd love to move to NY one day), I absolutely hate that way of thinking. Undoubtedly people will compare them just because they like to b---h, but it isn't a big deal. HOWEVER, gaybies who think that just because Kylie isn't huge in the USA or relevant anymore need to understand that she is huge around the world and has been making hit music since the 1980s, as well as acting.
