Miel 15,009
Mast makes a good point about water conservation, especially at a time right now. However, I do think it's mighty nice that Gaga has included herself not just in water conservation videos for the estate (government? I don't know), but also in helping fund water treatment research (or is it oceanographic research?). Speaking of water leakage, any reason as to why the Neptune Pool leaks so much each day? That could be something Gaga and the estate could totally work on, now that it's gotten at least some attention. -very nice of the locals to defend her :) I totally would if my local micro-economy (did I use that right?) was stimulated in a manner because of her presence. 3 points in and ready for more
Anthagio 113
You can't waste water. Water is a renewable resource and the water that's being used to fill the pool is going to be used to irrigate the crops afterwards. Like, Gaga is going above and beyond by paying so much money to help with the water efforts. She didn't have to do that. She could've paid the $250k donation, filled the pool, and then left, but she knows how important the issue is and so she wants to give back.

Monsterorgasm 0
Each year, of ****ing course, but not each day. Neptune Pool LEAKS 15,000 gallons on top of being filled. The average American household uses 350 gallons per day. That's nothing compared to the amount that Neptune Pool wastes. Just wanted to point out that he says that the pool leaks 1.500 gallons each day - not 15.000 :)

It is renewable, in a sense, but we don't have access to most of it. There's only so many sources of water that are safe and they slowly becoming contaminated to the extent that we won'tn be able to flier them anymore. Water scarcity is a huge problem worldwide, especially in California, where there is an enormous demand of water and very little freshwater sources. You've being extremely ignorant by saying water is renewable and can't be wasted, because it in fact can be wasted and it is wasted everyday at an alarming rate, and it's just as renewable as fossil fuels. Once we run out of safe freshwater sources, then we won't have any at all.
