I must say I'm not really confident about this. Working with professionals is always the better choice...

You don't need to direct just look at Lana del Rey. Her videos are written by her, but she lets professionals handle her vision and makes amazing videos.

However, I don't think gaga will use 2 Filmmakers, different sets to film, & call it a "project" just to shoot 1 MV; indeed it's her 2nd comeback just in this era , and she promised she'll show us the "Truly ARTPOP beginning" where art will surround us.
