This is weird, they shot footage at the Louvre? Are they reffering to the vlog style footage they supposedly did of Gaga visting Bob Wilson's exhibition? Or did they go back to film the architecture of the Louvre or something for the video?

 

I loooove Marry The Night so I'm actually excited to see Gaga direct again. I'm a bit afraid the video will look too rich though, the set screams opulence and so I hope it doesn't rely too much on the set to be visually appealling. Watching beautiful rich people dance in extravagant castles is not my cup of tea.

Paparazzi was shot in a beautiful mansion as well but the edginess-craftiness of the styling were the striking elements. (And it went with the story, seeing people who have it all, lose it all) The set here is too obviously gorgeous to be interesting should they make it the key visual element of the video. I hope they find a way to counterbalance that too obvious opulence, a cooky storyline or playing with camera effects... They need to add an element you can somehow relate to or aspire to. It would be too easy otherwise, just do wide shots and you're done.

Anyway, I can't wait to see how it turns out. Gaga can achieve anything she puts her mind to so I have great expectations.
