gagalovesme 2
I'm finding it very hard to process what happened last night, it was just absolutely perfect. To actually speak to Gaga and have her look you in the eye is just a magical feeling. I can't tell everyone about it without crying! I also met some lovely monsters I'm currently writing a detailed account, I don't know how long it will take so bear with me haha but the whole evening was just everything I wanted and more, worth every penny. OpusDiaboli666 199
I don't get why people automatically assume that I think she's not nice just bc I would rather have two minutes with her and skip the group chat alltogether..Then it would be 40 min in total..I'm not asking her to do more but it's weird to have a relaxed chat and then even have the people who follow the rules get shoved out.. OpusDiaboli666 199
And for what I said above: I didn't mean that everyone needs to have 2 min with her but security could handle the situation better and not even make people who follow the rules uncomfortable
Glamourpuss 29,062
I agree with you Opus. You don't seem unreasonable at all. All you want is a more personal experience which is what I would like too. Having said that though, I think we will have the time of our lives nonetheless. :) but on the subject of security, they need to calm down and stop ruining the experience. We are devoted fans not terrorists. Hausofsarahj, you said in your detailed ARTPOP zone post that you all got escorted straight into the arena. Does that mean you didn't get the pre show hospitality? I'm a bit worried about this. I want everything that the description said I would get when I bought it.
OpusDiaboli666 199
Yes we will..I wish we could be in a group together.. The group chat sounds really great so far bc it seems personal and very open but yeah I would like not to be pulled off of her while I hug her:-)

No we didn't, we checked in at the desk and then got escorted straight into the ARTPOP Zone.

somechick 1
I don't know what to think re Gaga's security. In our meet and greet they didn't say anything, they just stood there. But then everyone followed the rules so they didn't really need to do anything - but still they didn't need to be quite so rude if someone did ask for an autograph. They can just say "You were told no autographs", but they don't have to be total d*cks about it. Venuse security can differ too. At my APZ the guy standing by the steps to the piano was pretty sour, but then at the first Sydney show, I was standing right on the barrier of the APZ basically where the steps up to the piano are (well not right next to them, but opposite them on the outside of the barrier) and the guy there that night was lovely. He came and talked to my friend and I for 15mins before the show! And all the security outside in the queues both days were so lovely in Sydney. Not sure how those peopl were in Melb since I had a seat and then APZ). I saw Bruno last night before the show and said Hello to me.....not sure if he recognised me or was just being nice. lol I'll be seeing him tomorrow in Dublin. :)
OpusDiaboli666 199
HouseofSarahJ, did she sing anything for you?And if so: what and did someone ask or did she do it without being asked?
ElectricKing 9,405
So guys, my meet and greet was last night. Obviously, someone has already posted about it, but I just want to give my own view on it. The night was truly magical. I've never been a VIP to anything and from being escorted down by someone who has worked with Lady Gaga for ages was amazing, I felt so special. I met so many nice monsters in the ARTPOP Zone. I was not expecting the view to be as good as it is. Any picture you see will not do justice to it, you can see Gaga wherever she goes. You can go in and out of the zone whenever you like and there's a bar right there if you ever need a drink but it does cost. No one pushes you or no one did on my show because everyone knows they will get there time with Gaga. During the first song, ARTPOP, she was looking at me for a few seconds when I was singing the lyrics to her, it was so magical, I feel so connected with her. And then during Bang Bang, she pointed at me and then touched my hand and her sweat literally went from her hand to mine, I was like OMG. When we were escorted backstage, we saw all the rooms and I couldn't believe I was there. I looked in as the doors were open as I was passing by and I saw some of the outfits, dancers getting changed and so forth. Right at the end of the corridor was a Meet and Greet room. We went in, had drinks and got to know each other and a woman explained everything to us. Gaga arrived about 1 and a half hours after the show finished and she looked so beautiful, she really is stunning. We had a chat and it was time to take pictures. Her security are very strict and straight forward and as I was the last in the queue for the picture, one of the security guards came and said 'you can't say anything, just a picture and that's it, you leave' I just walked in, said I love to you to her and she said it back, and then we said bye. I wrote everything I wanted to tell her in my letter anyway. The meet and greet experience has changed over time since it started and I don't know why. It's either a timing issue, people have been breaking the rules or have been asking for too much or maybe something else. Overall, it was one of the best nights of my life. The whole thing was incredible. It's so worth the money and if there are still some ARTPOP Zones left, then make sure you get it because it's a brilliant experience I hope you guys have all enjoyed the artRAVE whatever ticket you brought and I can't wait for my second and final show next month! So exciting!
hausofsarahj 0
HouseofSarahJ, did she sing anything for you?And if so: what and did someone ask or did she do it without being asked? She sang parts of MANiCURE because somebody mentioned it, and she also sang lines of Dance In The Dark because someone mentioned it. Nobody asked her to sing, she just seemed to want to sing something for us. It was also a girl in the group's birthday, and her friend asked Gaga if everyone could sing Happy Birthday to her, so we all sang that to her together.
