Nicole 1,809 Posted May 27, 2014 Share Posted May 27, 2014 My dad bought mine through his account too, but it was actually paid through my brothers credit card (because he wanted the qantas points ), and a lady from ticketek called the other day to let my dad know that the tickets would be given at the venue through signing in. This was because they originally sent us an ezyticket for some reason. Anyway, the lady said that even though my name is nowhere on the ticket there would be no problem transferring it into my name, as long as one comes to sign me in even though I'm over 18. She did say though that it could even be transferred before the concert but that's something that they'll figure out later. I guess its just something they do to make sure everything is legit haha. By the way, congratulations on getting your ticket!!! I'm so happy for you!! Ah that might be what the person meant when they were explaining the signing in. We've talked to ticketmaster and whatnot and they said I should be able to attend as long as 1. Our last names are the same, 2. Our addresses are the same, 3. I have a copy of her ID and 4. I understand the concept of her being present to pick up the tickets from the box office, but I've been told she'll have to actually sign me into the venue as well since i'm under 18 and not the card holder. Just wondering if any APZ holders that are under 18 or 21 that needed to follow this process as well, or when I'll actually be told this type of information officially by the venue or event organisers? same situation.
