Jjang 2,262
No video no promo no anything *AMA's, The Voice, great radio support, a big debut week driven by album pre orders, banners on iTunes, an audio on VEVO with 20M + views, 2 remixes, including one with Christina, 2 commercials, radio interviews...etc
Quark 7,018
Do you have to be #1 to be praised. DWUW is doing good regardless of how much better other songs are doing. Dark horse doesn't have a video and it slayed, so idk why everyone is praising so much its performance but im happy that the song is doing okay. Pop Art 1,773
Dark horse doesn't have a video and it slayed, so idk why everyone is praising so much its performance but im happy that the song is doing okay. Dark Horse was a smash waiting to happen since day one. It hadn't left the iTunes Top 40 since it's release as a promotional single in September, and it had already sold around 700,000 copies in the US before it was even announced as a single. It skyrocketed into the iTunes Top 10 the very week it started getting airplay. It's not fair to compare Dark Horse to Do What U Want. For the size a hit Do What U Want is, selling a million copies is very good considering a video for it hasn't been released yet.

Factoring what a mess this era has been (no smash hit, Gaga getting dragged left & right, the inclusion of R. Kelly) this is good news, lettuce be real. And it's actually performed better than Judas did in its time during a huge era like BTW.
