HB: What are your guilty pleasures?
LG: Russian hookers and cheap gin. At least I'm honest.

HB: What's the biggest thing you've learned about yourself so far?
LG: I became very depressed at the end of 2013. I was exhausted fighting people off. I couldn't even feel my own heartbeat. I was angry, cynical, and had this deep sadness like an anchor dragging everywhere I go. I just didn't feel like fighting anymore. I didn't feel like standing up for myself one more timeâ€â€to one more person who lied to me. But January 1, I woke up, started crying again, and I looked in the mirror and said, "I know you don't want to fight. I know you think you can't, but you've done this before. I know it hurts, but you won't survive this depression." I really felt like I was dyingâ€â€my light completely out. I said to myself, "Whatever is left in there, even just one light molecule, you will find it and make it multiply. You have to for you. You have to for your music. You have to for your fans and your family." Depression doesn't take away your talentsâ€â€it just makes them harder to find. But I always find it. I learned that my sadness never destroyed what was great about me. You just have to go back to that greatness, find that one little light that's left. I'm lucky I found one little glimmer stored away.

HB: Are you happy?
LG: Today, yes.

HB: What do you want written on your gravestone?
LG: "She spread love with every invention."

THIS THIS THIS. ALL OF THIS. Beautiful and honest and relatable.

All I've heard from her since 2012 is how unhappy she is and how people use her and victimize her and talk bad about her and this and that and the other. Girl maybe it's time for a career change because your peers are not complaining this much about being a popstar. Everyone else is too focused on you know promoting their product, making music videos etc instead of focusing on the negative. She really needs to get it together the public is done with the poor me attitude and that reflected in her album sales. I really do hope she finds true happiness and peace of mind. Not trying to sound cold hearted at all but I hope she's off the d--gs and booze because that makes people even more depressed.

I love her.

Flawless interview. She glamorises her suffering so brilliantly - and I feel kind of bad for saying that, but it's how she wants us to see her and the message lies in her never failing to give up or change herself.

:legend:

I wish her all the best this year and beyond. She really does deserve it.

Not everyone has the same experiences in a career. Just because most people are fine emotionally doesn't mean she's wrong or trying to paint herself as a victim. I can't believe some of you are acting like she's just whining and being petty after reading what she said. It's pretty obvious that whatever happened affected her deeply, and people are still incapable of showing some empathy.

I'm so proud of her for overcoming the negativity and the badness. She's a strong woman and I'm glad she found happiness and the light to tread through and continue on.

The media and people are cruel, and have been especially to her. She deserves every amount of success she gets, and I'm so proud to be a fan of hers. An inspiration :applause:

Gaga should make that website open for the public :cryga: What harm can come if people can look at her amazing outfits as well? Imagine a huge cataloge online of all her looks that you could just browse.. :dead:

Beautiful interview! She is kinda dramatic but that's how she is, that's why she's an artist. I hope she will start off with powah!

Wait for Katy doing an revealing/emotional interview soon.

Wow that's one honest interview! I don't think she has been that honest before.

I know right? I think it's mostly the words she uses that makes it sound more honest. She is really direct this time. As much as I like Gaga when she's all vague, dramatic, poetic and cryptical in her interviews, this is really refreshing and needed at this point.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

:wtf: :sweep:

Grow a heart and see things from her perspective. It's easy to "call her out" and say she's playing the victim when you stand from outside all of it and look down on to it, not experiencing what she has had to go through. So easy when you're not the one who is dealing with all of it. So it's almost not even surprising that some of you are saying this. Because you don't deal with the sh*t she has to day in and day out.

Walk a mile in her shoes, see it from her perspective, learn some empathy and then try and say what you just did. I can guarantee any well-met, honest individual would not. Think before you speak, and find a heart.

Cannot said it better. You know at first I think she's pitying herself too much but when I see the bigger picture of it, we dont exactly know what happens in the background. The last thing we, as fans, could do is judging her, because we simply don't know what happened. At least her attitude in this interview is more sober I think, and she's being really honest.

Once again, please do not judge. We're just fans, okay maybe she's a little too sensitive but we cannot change that and we don't know what EXACTLY happened. We're here to be her fans not her manager....
