So sad some of you are still trying to tear her down, though. You don't have to agree with everything she says, but to say she's playing the victim card when you're one of her fans?! That's exactly what she's discussing when she says the loyalty quotes in this interview. You nor I know what the music industry is like, so please stop saying she's playing the victim. We don't know what she went through! What if you had nothing but people around you who were trying to use you to maximize income, even at the expense of your health, your ideas. Treating you as just a "doll" to be played with that makes a bunch of money. You might feel a bit victimized, eh? I don't care and didn't care about the negativity from day one, ARTPOP has delivered some of her highest highs thus far, especially with the imagery. I said to myself, "Whatever is left in there, even just one light molecule, you will find it and make it multiply. You have to for you. You have to for your music. You have to for your fans and your family." Depression doesn't take away your talentsâ€â€it just makes them harder to find. But I always find it. I learned that my sadness never destroyed what was great about me. You just have to go back to that greatness, find that one little light that's left. I'm lucky I found one little glimmer stored away. This is such a gorgeous, honest, thoughtful, and truthful description of the fight against depression. I've struggled with it my entire life and I'm in the process of digging myself out too. And she's right, you just need to find that one little source of hope and hang on for dear life and sooner or later it will lift you out. :emo: I'm so sad she was hurting, but my heart is full and happy that she's working on making herself shine once again. She's been through so much physically and emotionally and still bothered to put out an album. But when that album didn't meet expectations people went crazy. She was constantly mocked and attacked throughout 2013 for no good reason. She is a ****ing victim. She's even a victim of her own callous and selfish fanbase.
