Bye 3,947 Posted January 31, 2014 Share Posted January 31, 2014 I always wonder and this is a friendly question... do you know something about producing/appreaciating music to be so sure that BTW and AP are better or are you only judging for your personal taste? I don't know too much of producing music, I'm only a music geek and I use my experience of many years listening to different kind of music releases and the critics reviews to form my own opinion, and that's why I think that TFM is better than her last 2 albums. :) I'm giving support to the thought that the stans who underrate him are wrong. Personal opinion and opinions of some critics I value about others, and those of people I know who are not fans of Gaga or even who hate her. They find BTW as a level above other pop albums something which they don't find with TF or TFM. ARTPOP is purely my opinion because I get why some people might refer TFM (not the filler filled TF though ) after all music is always up to opinion. Yep. Lets a--lize DJWSs song on ARTPOP Sexxx Dreams: the chorus sounds like some low quality trash. If you have Beats you will hear that sound. MANiCURE- ruined vocals. A good producer doesnt allow a song to be ruined DWUW- he could not create a beat and used a sample hihi ARTPOP: he ruined the HE EHEE parts. Enuff said Swine- no comment On BTW: BTW- we can all agree that this song is an overproduced mess BM- its OK So as you can see he has so many flwas ywt you defend him. Mess, and the fact that you mention Beats when they're not even the best headphones around lol. MANiCURE has some if the best vocals on the album, I think even some critics mentioned that. DWUW is great, don't know what you're talking about. You wouldn't be saying that of ARTPOP if you hadn't heard the swinefest version. Nope, we don't all agree that BTW is overproduced. Dean Winchester 197 Posted January 31, 2014 Share Posted January 31, 2014 I find it funny that when monsters don't like a song, they blame the producer or when they don't like her hair they blame her hair stylist or when they don't like her makeup they blame her makeup artist. Whereas in reality, the song producer, makeup artist, and hair stylist all work for Gaga in order to execute her vision. This means that what u hear in the song, is what gaga wanted not the producer. This is true for a lot of artists but for gaga its even more true since she co-produced all the songs on ARTPOP. Many here think she does nothing and just gets the production credit but that's just bullsh*t. Seeing as Venus was produced by gaga, clearly she knows how to produce music. DJWS is a genius and im not saying this based on one song he produced im basing this off of the fact that his productions on gaga songs are able to replicate what SHE wants which is what a producers job is. Also at you for thinking that Venus is a Bad Romance quality. No On the Floor is the only great production RO has done without Gaga but its not better than BTW and ARTPOP. I feel like people would praise him more if he started out with her in TF/TFM era, and if his work with her charted better. But overall I think his production is pretty good.
