I know.....I was 16 and pretty dumb. I actually quit working there when I came out at 17 because the manager was extremely homophobic. When they had the "Anti-Chick-Fil-A" Day a year later I went to THAT Chick-Fil-A and held up a sign in drag saying "Jesus had two dads and he turned out okay." And the manager came out and told me I was going to go to hell. I literally said "Ill be dancing in the flames tonight!" lol. crazy ****

Ha, ha, good for you and way to be brave!  Great response to the manager!

I would like to say that she's an acquired taste yet the experiences keep changing.  I think one could almost assign definitions to each era based on attitude, fashion, music, and performances, and just the general "feel" of her presentations.  Fans are able to align themselves with one of them, a few of them, or even all of them as we are ever-evolving and ever-changing.  Gaga is aware that people grow and change a little bit all the time, and really, used that as her key message for the BTW era - all about being reborn within yourself, not necessarily in a religious sense, but spiritually.

What's interesting for me, as I can relate to her in different ways for all the eras - not just boxed into one.  For example, the dark side of the FM helped me to understand that I'm not alone when it comes to a blackened side of life ~ fighting demons, accepting shortcomings, doing things that aren't good for you, but you do them anyway, but even more importantly, discovering others fight similar demons, share a dark side of life they don't always wish to reveal, but loving them through it anyway, an ultimate acceptance of people as fallible people, sometimes harsh, sometimes weakened (never broken), yet beautiful and determined through all hurdles thrown in their path.

With BTW, as I said above, I appreciated the idea of rebirth.  This can mean so many things to so many people, but I liked the way Gaga put it; as we are beings continually in motion with our thoughts and belief systems. Even after all my experiences and life events, I'd like to believe I'm still changing the way I used to think, still open to new ideas, willing to understand people at their very core and in doing so, find an understanding of myself I didn't know was there before.

I'm still chewing on AP.  At first, I felt it was nothing but a fun-loving party album, and it may very well be.  If so, that's great, as I'm shy and somewhat withdrawn at times, it does me good to feel empowered in such a simple way; just to let loose and stop being so worried all the time.  However, Dope changes the vista a little bit. It's a hard-hitting tune with much truth and reality that I find myself listening for other hidden truths embedded in the other songs.  I think there is more than meets the eye with this album.  I may be dead wrong, but at least I'm looking for more meaning than just Mary Jane, and that's important for me and I think that would be important to Gaga.  It seems as though AP means a lot to her.

I really liked to her bad girl, fearless attitude of the TF/M but also cherish her sweeter side I'm seeing lately.  I think it's awesome we've seen her evolve before our very eyes into even a more lovely person - this sets a wonderful example to her younger fans.

I have actually heard that Gwen might be working on music right now. I also should suggest that if you like Gwen, Madge, Cher, and Gaga we shouldn't count out Christina (who has changed her looks), Janet (who lets be honest changed her looks too), and now Lorde who is definitely an odd ball in the same right at Gwen, Madge, Gaga, and Cher. I'm REALLY stoked to see if Lorde will continue to develop her look/style as her music evolves.

ShakesQueer.....u are the coolest!!!! U did exactly what I would've done. Yea...ur my homie!!! ;)

Gagaloo911

I became a stan during the end of TFM era.

I just loved how fearless and bold she was.

She was such a badass...

now..its more of a 3rd grade lets all be friends teacher mentality and style to her :awkney:

Don't worry hon. She always has a different persona with each album. The Fame had one then TFM. Born This Way she changed like crazy and now she has again with ARTPOP.

Chances are she will with the next album too so don't fret too much :)
