Max Martin and Dr. Luke have alot better production qualities in their songs than any other producer. How many producers/songwriters have been able to come up with the most infectious melodies and hooks over and over again? Max Martin, Dr. luke, RedOne come to my mind and Timbaland around 2006. Producing is about inventing the best possible melody/hook and creating just the right sounds for those melodies. And it's about how to fit layered sounds together perfectly, finding the sounds that fit together and find the balance between Instruments and the vocals. I can't at you all calling Max Martin and Dr.Luke generic or bad. They say Max Martin is one of the most musically talented persons on earth, creating hits for over a decade.
