Interludicrous 15 Posted November 9, 2012 Share Posted November 9, 2012 TFM singles were all 4ish months i believe, and look how that turned out ;) the problem with BTW was too many singles in too short of time. katy's and riri's singles do so well because they SPACE THEM OUT OR they have the luxury to space them out because they do so well, just like Gaga had during TFM. Make it too confusing for them and they'll pass. Make it sound like there's more songs to be added later and they'll wait - that might be good for sales of singles though. Remember how Born This Way (single) was planned for December, then ended up being relesead in February? ARTPOP's lead was supposed to come in late 2012 and the album in the 4th quarter. I'm somehow get the feeling that "the history repeats itself". I wouldn't be surprised if she'd premiere the single at GRAMMYs (since she doesn't think the single will be out in January, but in July they said we will pee in our pants - which is really strange ) and release the album 3-4 months after it.
