Bitter 3,640
Guess your going to be disappointed by ARTPOP then I hope not. I still have hopes even if djws is the main producer. I live for the unexpected
PrinceTay 0
gurl i LOVE btw, i still listen to it but let's not fool ourselves. It's production was way too 90's and everyone was expecting something spectacular like bad romance. Spectacular like bad romance??? Why would she need to create something similar to BR for the song to be liked. Yeah it had some 90's influence but most of the songs on the album did. At the end of the day the song was number one everywhere so.......
Bitter 3,640
Heavy Metal Lover, Scheibe, or Bloody Mary would had did good if it was released. Why are you so pressed about the BTW era????? i'm not pressed whatsoever. Btw is my favorite album. I just dislike djws and his work cause gaga can find WAY better producers than him. I was referring to the fresh and innovative vibe that bad romance had. TFM had a very fresh sound and many people (if not everyone) was expecting as a lead single something like that vibe and not a 90's sound. Kennedy putting his hands on her, or a single about so many religious stuff :megaflop:

Samuel 3
DJWS absolutely was the producer MVP on Born This Way. Bloody Mary and Government Hooker are the two best productions on the whole album and...lo and behold, they were the two tracks that he took lead on. And Electric Chapel, while not necessarily one of the best tracks, certainly featured some of the fresher more interesting production, and that was the track he flew solo on. However, I've not been very impressed with most of his mixtapes, and I'm not a trap fan in general, so that's definitely tempered my enthusiasm. I am, however, sort of glad that Garibay and RedOne will likely not be producing a lot of material for this album. Garibay's vocal production drives me nuts. I think I'm most looking forward to seeing what she and Madeon produce together. Thank you. I mentioned this a while back and got slated by everyone in the darn thread... There is something seriously messed up with the way he mixes vocals. It's so annoying when you have masterpieces like Edge of Glory or Dance in the Dark (especially the chorus) being held back by messy vocals.

Petrichor 4,640
It would probably be if mtn hadn't flopped and the era was over. Besides she sang it on new year's eve whereas bloody mary and bjaf only in her bathroom Y'all are so ungrateful. Gaga works with who she wants to, and you should all just shut the **** up and be happy with what DJWS and Gaga create. Try making a ****ing song. I'd like to see you ****ers try. Michael 533
Can you imagine the day the lead single is released/leaked, you sit down, take a deep breath, try to not have a heart attack, mentally prepare yourself, press play, and the first thing you hear is that signature RedOne horn? I'm not saying it would be good or bad per se, it would just be like....BOOM BACK BITCHES. Just a random thought. :omgaga:
elijahfan 26,155
of course they do hun. That's why poker face became a single and not summerboy and bad romance instead of teeth. luckily we will never know :ARTPOP: He co-produced Born This Way, which was the most successful single of the era, though
aaronyoji 2,054
Can you tell me what's wrong with his production he is not a ****ty producer. Sorry for her trying to be different, and that she isn't a boring piece of **** using RedOne. Let her branch out a little, he's been with her ever since she started touring. ****in this. alot of you guys here are such pussies when it comes to a little distorted grimey bass lines and a little guitar like seriously its just a sound. sorry, not sorry. aaronyoji 2,054
Remember Gaga said that Government Hooker sounded urban and hip-hopish before they tweaked it. I wanna hear what it sound liked before. i was contemplating this as well. altho she was saying it was originally more in the vein of like "french hip hop" or something, if such a thing exists lol.
