Raccoon 1,047
I'm not sure about what to think about the progress... but I don't care about the entire album, just hope that the debut single is ready... the rest of the album can be finished after the single release. I hope she's working hard on it in LA Pretty sure the lead single is ready for months, cuz it's the same since last year... kupo 201
I've no doubt her and Azealia made great music together. However, given everything Gaga HAS said and fought for in the last four years, it'll be nearly impossible for her to include the collaboration and not get all sorts of **** from different outlets in the press. She'll just have to decide whether that's a PR storm she wants to weather.
Forrest Gump 1
One thing I admire about Gaga is that she doesn't do too many collabs. I love the fact that BTW is collab-free btw was expected (obviously) but i don't admire her for not doing collabs. it doesn't make her a better artists then her peers to not work with her peers... kupo 201
It doesn't make her a better artist, but I do applaud her for standing on her own two feet and avoiding the collab trend as it is typically used in pop music right now. Collabs are totally legitimate and can produce really rewarding hybrids of the artists' visions, but way too often on the contemporary radio landscape collabs are used as a relatively cheap way to increase exposure and sales with very, very little thought put into making the inclusion of the featured artist seem organic and vital to the song. shiptowreck 179
Maybe we should all just stop talking about Azealia because all it seems to do is polarize us and have us at each other's throats (which most things seem to do anyway). Either you like her or you don't. If she's on the album just don't listen to the song(s). If she's not on the album then she's not on the album. Simple as that.
