New music is generally released on tuesdays... although it might hit iTunes that night. excuse me no. The lead single must be released at least one week before the vmas. IF IT IS: August 25th- Lead single performance @ VMAS August 27th- Lead single release on iTunes September 30th- ARTPOP album + APP released as Gaga takes the stage for a set comprised of ARTPOP songs never before heard. ^^ now thats how you debut an album. The single must be released before the VMA's. Look, I don't know anything for sure but if she misses the VMAs she'll be the most stupid person. She's obviously healed fully, everybody's anticipating her. Sometimes when you wait for something that long 1+ year, the excitement just dies. Some girl from Gaga's team, I believe told a fan Gaga's having a couple of come backs before the grand one. The NY pride was obviously one of them. She's silent ever since, maybe she'll come up with something. I think at this stage she's recording her jazz album with Bennett. It was rumoured that Gaga would be joining Beyonce on her first Barclay's date which is happening on August 3. Another comeback. Maybe after that day, she'll start talking about ARTPOP and ****, you know. If the lead single is premiering on Augustt 25 (VMAs), and I'm absolutely positive about that, information will start to drop in August, she'll first have to release the single itself, then she'll promote it on the VMAs. Who knows, maybe she'll really attend the iTunes Festival. Maybe she'll debut some new songs. But who debuts and album in September and then release it in 2014? At least, according to the NME article. Billboard's ED is planning a new cover story with Gaga and he's pretty sure the album is coming out in the fall along with Bey's, Eminem's and Mariah's. I'm sure the single can reach number one in several countries without the VMAs, so when it starts falling down on the charts the VMAs would be a good way to boost it up again. Lose control. Songs are usually "impacted" to radio on Tuesdays, and non-major stars that aren't having a shot at #1, will release on Tuesdays.
