It'd be even more badly received. The only way to get the public to understand the meaning behind Burqa (freedom, protection I'm guessing) is by getting it into their heads. I feel that Gaga didn't explain the meaning behind Judas too well

I felt that GaGa did explain it well once the song was out, but not before the song. I remember talking to my mum and dad a bit after Judas was released and even they said that they couldn't understand why people was boycotting the song as it clearly isn't offending religion.

BY THAT TIME, we should already have had the announcement we are all waiting for.

this is true. I regularly tell myself I should be thankful she isn't releasing **** music every year just to make money. Most of the people I listen to release music every two years, tops. 

 

But her music and her marketing just make me want more. And it's been so long since we've heard from her or heard real music (not stache/cake) and all of this combined is making me nuts. 

Agreed, she is our fave and we love her music, so we just want as many songs as possible If she releases ARTPOP this year it'll still seem as if she releases almost annually though, as 2010 is the only year she won't have released in and it'll be her 4th album in 5 years, despite the fact that the average between albums is 18+ months. 

 

Wouldn't be surprised if she waits with ARTPOP until (after) Monday 19 August, which is when The Fame turns 5

What I think is "fishy" is the fact that they've waited this long to remove it. The video has been there for weeks and the discussion also. How could Gaga not have known that her dad talked about ARTPOP?
