Since it's very likely she won't be able to dance by mid-end May, she can release a power ballad as a lead single that showcases her vocals and her piano talent and reserve the bombastic dance track for the VMAs.

Now that we have actual confirmation that she is back in the studio...

 

I think that she is going to me working on the album hard all throughout April and May while she completes her recovery. She'll probably get back into dancing around late May too to rehearse for the first video. I expect the actual hype to start in mid May and the first single to debut in early June, and the app to also launch around that time too.

 

Then she'll release the second single in mid August, and the album in late August / early September and use the VMA's as promo.
