She made her fb cover photo "Mariah, Summer 2012" last summer, so misleading. And released her Triumphant single SOOOOOO long ago. I think when Triumphant flopped she scrapped the album tbh. What if the original plan (before she hurt herself) was to put the single out March 5, and then ARTPOP May 22?! (TOTALLY SPECULATING ). the amount of time between now and May 22 (about 2-3 months) is how long most top 40 artists allow for single promo before the album drops... plausible. She loves doing that lol. So hearing any other source other than her telling of a release date sounds totally unreliable. I know she told the Mods backstage that she thinks some fans don't GET how much work she's putting into ARTPOP. God, it must piss her off so much Wow, she told mods this? I don't blame her at all. Her fans are relentlessly annoying about it and it is probably the reason for her silence. She has nothing for such demanding fans, atm. If she says she is working her ass off, (she literally did and messed up her hip), let her do what she has to do. I'd rather give it her all and do her best than to rush and jack it up. It's forever once she releases it. So fans need to give pressing her a break. Yeah, she work(ed) everyday in the studio, she has to prepare the app, the plan of the era, single choices, track listing, artwork of the album, outfits, performances, etc. And some people say that she's doing nothing Indeed. People complain from the armchair, but do they think about the work she does to actually meet those demands? Sometimes, it reminds me of that hunger hippo game when the hippos try to gobble up all the balls. It will be okay. The album is still coming, we just need to be patient.
