Expectative (Early 2012-Late July 2012): We get news about the album, no announcements but general news. 2. Announcement (August 2012): Album title officially announced, waiting becomes harder. Pre-album era officially begins. 3. Cloudy Waiting (September 2012-December 2012): We have been through many small news, such as new song titles and people saying lead single is amazing, even though It has supposedly been changed several times. Everything is confusing, we are anxious for real big news but nothing happens. 4. Fear & Cloudy Waiting (January 2012-Undefined): Now we're getting closer to ARTPOP, the year of the album officially begins and people will start having meltdowns and being afraid of being disappointed by the album or Gaga. Biggest announcement is coming, anxiety and tension within the whole fanbase. 5. Era Launch (Undefined): Gaga announces lead single. We get dates. The hype starts raising to the top. Fear disappears, anxiety becomes bigger and avidity grows. The ARTPOP era officially begins. OMG I am too bored, but this is how I see all this thing. I dont think that the delay in information is due to things still being planned out and changed around but rather just striking at the right time and out of nowhere with a promo blitz but not excessively over the course of a few months. I think january and part of february will be used to start giving more and more details about the album and lead single and i would expext the first single by mid feb. To early march. I don't think it's their fault, her tweet ages ago implied that they'd "OK'd" the album, hence her also saying that she'd reveal the album title in September. But the Hilbert remix of WANEGBT is pretty good... I have complete confidence in Gaga and her team. The meltdowns at the lack of hype or news is quite annoying though, I remember people complaining about the complete opposite with Born This Way, that it was over hyped. Fans will never be satisfied.
