Miel 15,009
I agree. I agree. edit: now putting an actual response instead of a misquote lol I totally see the appeal in new songs similar to TF; easy, likable, and such. Yet, I personally would want it to span on from things such as from TFM or BTW. A lot more different than the rest of the radio, and not always a sure-fire hit for the radio; the fact that a pop single would be bold enough to be either panned by the radio or become a huge hit is extremely respectable to me. It's a huge risk, but I'd rather a risky progression than a safe fallback. Just imo. Like It Rough 144
i disagree You have a better suggestion? You really want BTW 2.0? Fans will love it, but the general public will NOT be delighted :(
Miel 15,009
In terms of cultural impact, then yes. that damn song was everywhere In terms of music quality, then no. THat song was completely moronic and sounded like a generic LMFAO song. yep yep You have a better suggestion? You really want BTW 2.0? Fans will love it, but the general public will NOT be delighted :( Not a BTW 2.0, but something akin to that it tried doing something different. At this point, I kind of don't care abpout the public, the GP taste in music has lately been extremely dismal imo. I mean, of course I love Gaga being successful and on top but I wouldn't want her to sacrifice any sort of potential creativity or progress for a safe fallback just to gain the public. I mean, in terms of marketing and business success it's smart, but I'd take potentially experimental, 'different' pop music with moderate/alternative success than safe, GP friendly pop music with extreme success. 3 points in and ready for more

I understand what you're saying, but the third album is very important for future career, she should go on a safe When I ask people who are not fans: which song of Gaga they like? 100% of them say songs from TF / TFM, and it killing me! :( . Ty3009 232
ok so after reading a bunch of posts here and hearing what everyone has to say, i think i have the PERFECT idea for the era. So we know the music will be catchy, and fun, and the public will like it. We know she is very interested in the media's involvement in the music and stuff... What if she just went and made the next gangnam style. Crazy music, catchy song, catchy dance, and the music videos HAVE to go viral. That's using the media right? i'm sure she has other ideas, but im sure that's her biggest plan. You can't "plan" on anything going viral. Gangnam Style certainly wasn't expected to have the impact that it had. Also, I don't think that GaGa is so desperate for a hit that she'd try to emulate LMFAO/Psy/Ke$ha. She knows how to write a catchy song that's also a distinctly "GaGa" song.
