She could have released the lead song of ARTPOP, I don't see any problem in that, especially since Nov/Dec were a little bit too quiet and there weren't any considerable songs out there (besides Gangnam Style) She has to be confident about herself and the music she's making.. (you clearly see that I just need HER music ) The thing is... no matter when it comes, you'll lap it up just as much. So why rush? They seriously need to plan global domination. I believe the thing they are working on is the video and choreo. They want the video to go viral and compete up there with gangnam style and baby... the way you do that is by creating an unmistakable and catchy as hell dance routine that people can emulate without too much effort... and something funny to make everyone lol. Basically, I think they are a--lyzing "Sexy and I know it", "Gangnam style" and "I gotta feeling" to see what made them pop with the general public. Humour + music you can dance to + dance routine + getting adrenaline pumping (I gotta feeling etc) = ARTPOP lead single. It can be done and shall be done.
