Dex 117 Posted December 15, 2012 Share Posted December 15, 2012 (edited) I would likely qualify as a "TFM lover" and I don't think BTW lacked in the dance music, but what I didn't like was the production on the majority of the songs (though some songs had really amazing productions) and there wasn't really a song, imo, that stood out and made me go like "Wow, I'm listening to something incredible." When I envisioned BTW, I imagined songs more along the lines of Scheiße - a dark, high energy song that Gaga made completely her own. This is why, despite the fact that I don't want to be, I'm super hyped for ARTPOP probably as much as I was for BTW, with all these comments about how it's a rave, electronic, techno, house, dance album. hit the nail on the head. when i first head the GH mugler remix i was like WOOOAAAHHHHHH then the full album turned out to be super fluffy. the final version of GH was super disappointing too. That's when the note was written to the fans outside her hotel. Plus, that's a Sunday. There's a teaser out and if he were to release a video, I feel like that's something he would specify not just be all "o yah surprise it the videoo". I hope. She could also manipulate her voice into a tribal, animalistic chant, or perhaps duet with an African vocalist. Really experiment with world music and bring it to the forefront.
