well given it was mentioned around the time where she was also planing to release the album in 2012 id take it with a grain of salt lol...specially that she's since then had most of her collabs with other artist not fall thru. :(

OMG :D I love that the 2 volumes idea isn't scrapped. She's completed 50 or so songs, right? So imagine all the rest of the bits and bobs she has laying around ready to glue together into a carefully crafted song... we could end up with 5 volumes haha

No, but seriously, I think the only thing that was in doubt from Gaga's side was the way in which the volumes would be separated. Should one be art and one be pop? Should one be ballads and the other upbeat? Should one contain one collection of producers and the other a different set of producers etc etc etc

"Sometime in 2013" is double edged. Either that means they just don't have a date to reveal or it's been pushed back to later in 2013. I mean, January 2013 is a time in 2013 too, right?

I don't think it'l be January, personally I don't want any new meterial until like a month before the album release so possibly a february single with a late march or early April album....in general to have the lead single and album release be close it worked wonders for TFM...no 3 single pre-album crap

I think it's possible that she'll give us some info on New Year's Eve. That's exactly what she did with the BTW release dates, and since she's been hyping the crap out of "2013" "ARTPOP2013" etc I think we will start to get quite a bit once this year hits.

Lead Single - Mid January (This gives the song, a chance for the song to chart and have extra promotion with a February Music Video and Grammy Performance)

ARTPOP (Album) - After the single has had almost a two month run, Gaga can release the album in March.

Second Single - With the album out in mid March, she could release the second ARTPOP single in April. Giving a 4 month run of the single, and a one month run of the album.

Third Single - The third single, in my opinion, should come in late June/July....giving the second single a good three/four month go. This will enable Gaga with a summer hit up until the end of August.

I think she said in a LM chat that the single probably wouldn't be released in January because she needs to get the vocals right. And she apparently told fans backstage that she would only be releasing one volume.

No. The issue was hair and teog coming out and her performing them when she should have promoted Judas alone.

The thing to avoid is sticking out 4 singles in the chart at the same time. Let them breathe. Born this way stayed in the chart for ages.

There are too many tracks for an album to have listenability as a cohesive body, there are too many potential singles and everyone would be mad.

It's the same as TFM and the fame. 2 volumes of cohesive work centred around the subject of fame. 2 volumes, 7 singles, 9 videos, one subject. Anyone that doesn't understand how perfect the idea is probably loved TFM and the fame and how they came about but oddly are against this. They're foolish.
