After her putting #ARTPOP after talking about how she dyed it, I'm convinced it has to do with something with this new era. Also the lady gaga fashion tumblr or w/e posted how the brunette hair was private or sumthin lol. and it made me think about the private in public theme. But the BMI proved good to watch while waiting for Born This Way. Scheisse was registered as Scheiße and Sh*t and Shiza. we eventually got it as the title awe all know. I say this for a couple reasons: 1.) Gaga said something to the effect that people need to capitalize the title of her new album/project. I think the word "project" implies that ARTPOP is going to be something a little different otherwise she would just say "my new album." And an album of collaborations would be quite the project. 2.) We already know about the Kendrick Lamar collab -- the song was her idea and KL hopped on board and made it very personal for him too. She said she decided not to use it for her album but that he would. 3.) People speculated about a Gaga/Coldplay collab months ago when Chris Martin retweeted her that the next album is her favorite Gaga album. 4.) Gaga and Gwen Stefani seemed chummy lately via Twitter -- Gaga was really pushing No Doubt's new single and Gwen Stefani was appreciative of that. 5.) And people love collaborations. Two superstars coming together to make one super song -- unbeatable combination. I think something like this would get ARTPOP a lot more attention and press, sell more records, and get our girl back to number 1. I think it could really broaden her appeal. Monsters are buying every song and album no matter what but just like in a presidential election, it's the independents that really matter (in this case, the non-Monsters). Who knows? Just anxious for new music. I've almost literally listened to the BTW album to some extent every day since May 2011. The only one I would be excited for and that is partially reasonable is the Coldplay collab. I would love that..... but Rihanna just did that last year.... so idk lol.
