Bear 7,515 Posted August 15, 2012 Share Posted August 15, 2012 Interesting thought about the 'fall of the superstar' idea and getting the media attention, and her new found friendship with Lindsay :- When asked about the themes of Paparazzi and and the Fall of the superstar, gaga said back in the fame era: "I thought about about performance art and shock art and how Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie are shock artists in their own way. They're not necessarily doing fine art- something they put in the museums- but it's an art form in itself." I've seen a lot of news articles lately about Gaga portraying her in a similar way to what she described (Gaga hanging around with Lindsay, Comparing her to Paris Hilton with her fur jacket, Annoying PETA, Lip injection etc. ) Just made me think about if this is a new artistic direction she is taking to shock the media and manipulate them, building up a persona. Cannot wait for her to slay the gp with this new album. Then I can blast it down my hallway with no complaints Also, I want nothing "Erotica" in any titles... not here for Madonna comparisons. Im still hoping for a late september/ october single release. Has there been any confirmation when the greatest thing is being released? Just a thought, probably nothing and just coincidence oh i believe that youre dead on. shes obviously taking on that persona. she does it with every album era. thats why i fell in love with gaga, because gaga IS art. she doesnt MAKE art. shes like a canvas.... constantly becoming different personas.
