heavyMetalGAGA 65 Posted August 15, 2012 Share Posted August 15, 2012 Gaga's new post reminded me of something Marilyn Manson said about his time on Interscope - Born This Way was censored, her single choices were argued and over-ruled and, who knows, maybe things like the Extended Judas video, the second BTW video etc. were all things that Gaga had no say in being released when it came down to it. Something else Manson said, which I think is relevant - They don’t care about music. They never did. I mean, Jimmy Iovine [Chairman of Interscope-Geffen-A&M] used to, when he produced records a long time ago. They care about Vitamin Water... And when you’ve got so much money, it’s just about ego. I don’t really care what their problem is. I was just happy to get out of there. And I have to be objective, I don’t take it personally. I don’t regret the records I made - I regret the way they treated them. I'm so happy I'm not the only one obsessing over the new album/single!! It's going to be amazing.
