http://izzy-del-rey-and-the-diamonds.tumblr.com/post/29204746813 i would LOVE something like that for the album cover. Bright and fun, but with dark undertones (ie: the skeleton)

LOL @ "fukc the GP" :laughga:

Gaga can do artsy music, but at the end of the day, she wants to be remembered as a legend, she wants a monumental level of success - she can't afford to be doing quirky, seemingly random songs all the time that are a bit too offensive to dumbasses. In order to maintain a level of success, one must learn how to manipulate the industry like Gaga has. She will move in a slightly more commercial direction in order to get the percieved popularity that comes with chart success - but the main body of her work will always be artistically licenced.

And I can't believe nobody's noticed that Gaga's a fully fledged albums artist, very few people have album and single success at the same time. Gaga has phenomenal album sales - constantly phenomenal, this is shown in her tour sales. Singles serve to promote the album - she needs an excuse to appear on TV or perform at an awards show - nobody really buys singles tbh, it's all about albums.

Appealing to the GP at this point would be smart - because they'll buy the album after the singles, but it doesn't mean she needs to compromise her artistic integrity. TFM was the perfect balance, BTW went a little off the edge of the cliff, but the sales were still incredible due to building that fanbase that 'gets' her.

I would love that.

Anyways, while y'all are listening to fake "leaks" and snippets, I still listen to DJWS's mixetape, called "I LIKE DANCE MUSIC ELEVEN" or something like that (especially @41:32 or @42:31, somewhere there, and that squeeky robot voice says something like 'ARTPOP', idk)

Can anyone tell me if he has a part 12 of that mixtape? I'm currently on my smartphone now and the internet is slow.

obviously its a good song, but it really wasn't meant to be. OBVIOUSLy people don't want religion or anything like that on the radio. It doesn't matter if the religion was for something else. the word JUDAS was in the song and it had too much of a heavy metal vibe.

not to mention she declared that she was clinging to a demon, and people don't know what a metaphor is nowadays lmao. even my mom was like SO I HEARD THAT NEW LADY GAGA SONG AND SHE SAYS SHE LOVES JUDAS AND DEMONS and then I explain it to her and shes like "oh. that makes sense" LOL

Yeahhh this forum talked about the DJWS mixtape "ARTPOP" bot voice 5 forums ago.

This is the most reliable work for a feel of the production on ARTPOP. Well his productions at least.

LOL @ "I'm the only one who knew Gaga was an albums artist" Everyone on this forum has mentioned that. :laughga:

Gaga has said she doesn't care about "number 1s" and I much rather have her continue to push boundaries while maintaining a pop genre. Obviously ARTPOP will have a more commercial appeal considering everything she has said... and the title itself "ARTPOP". :ohwell:
