In 2007/2008 pop music was in the same place, Gaga saved it. She can save it again.

I completely agree. :nacho:

Yeah, after seeing what's happened over the past months/year with Born This Way, I honestly believe her new album will blow everyone out of the water. I'm not saying it as a fan, I'm saying what I truly believe.

I honestly think she put out BTW, and when artists like Karmin, Rita Ora, and any of the other generic pop star molds including some truly awful music by KP and Rihanna, it made her think, "really? this is what music has come to?"

If you really think about it, she wasn't paid attention to this time around. Yes, she sold a ton of copies and BTW (single) did relatively well on the charts, but she didn't have that spark that she had before if that makes any sense.

I think that with her next single she's gonna be bigger than before (which is already one of the most powerful on Earth). I think her new music will be a statement. And the statement will be:

"You call this dance music? THIS is dance music" Her clever, meaningful lyrics will be backed by innovative sounds and will stand out from **** like "I wanna party and bull**** x100" and "Hey, I just met you...." and whatever travesty Karmin has put out.

I know what you mean. Even though it did well commercially, a lot of people (critically) either didn't get it or straight-up hated it which impacted on the overall era.

This is what Gaga will be remembered for. She has really raised the threshold for modern pop-stars and will continue to do so, not to mention starting trends.

I agree gaga can save it again but everyone else will probably jump on the bandwagon of her new sound.

That's why I think the American Leg of the tour is going to be much different ... New album songs added to the setlist and she is going to make a hybrid tour... some of born this way and some of the new album. JMO

I believe and hope this as well , she is not gonna give me just this 1.5 yr old album on that stage !

Hmm..wonder if it's significant.

A couple weeks back @DJWS was asked on twitter if he was working with any other artists outside of Gaga and he said yes and mentioned Evan Ross. Not gaga related though.

Don't compare Gaga to those idiots. One uses autotune and one mimes. Gaga would murder the Superbowl.

Art :legend:

You failed to see my point. I never compared I used them as examples

I did...? Nothing really has been announced about a single release, or album release, nothing much that is official.

Nice post.

Thank you kindly my friend.

This. Well done, Sir.

Thank you, and yes, I think the sound will be futuristic but not in terms of different synths. I think the only way to describe it now is "brilliantly ridiculous"

This. If The Fame was a parody of the real fame, then this next album could possibly be a parody of dance music!

She said that the song she played on the car for fans was the title track, right? What if the album is called Music?

Do you really expect him to be honest about that? :laughga:

I can only hope... If the lead is actually catchier than Bad Romance (and also memorable), it could carry the whole era on it's back. Commercial success would be granted then =)
