Addy Ezzie 2
OK, I'm a bit confused. I don't support Justin's behaviour at all, I think what he did was just plain stupid. BUT I guess his fans must be devastated so yeah, I see Gaga's point here. Bashing them at such a terrible time is not really smart. However, they can also be kinda silly and we can't approve of everything they do. Some of them have also been mean to other fanbases, let's not forget that. That being said, be strong, Beliebers
Kayla 7,595
The fans aren't supporting his behavior. They are supporting him in hopes his behavior can change. That's a big difference. Imagine if Gaga got caught DUI today. It COULD happen. It could happen to anyone. Would you instantly just abandon her and the fans? Not at all. And that's the point I'm making. Some people are saying we shouldn't be supportive of him because what he did was dangerous and disrespectful, saying that we shouldn't support his fans because we don't want to give them the idea that Bieber's actions are OK. I'm saying we should give them support. Not for what happened, but support for what Justin can do to change and become better than this. It's saying "I don't support what you did, but I support your ability to rise above it." That's what I think we should focus on for him and his fans. Didymus 34,380
I find it fascinating that so many Gaga fans feel the need to tell Justin and his fans that he should become "a better person", "change his ways", "stop acting like this",... What I understood from Gaga's LM.com message is that we should never judge a person and his actions, because we only see a very small side of what's actually happening. I think the Born This Way message can bring us together, not because we impose a better standard of life on someone else, but because we embrace in each other in our imperfections and help each other where we can, without feeling the need to belittle, educate or improve someone. Oh well..
Allison M 357
She's so sweet. Bieber is a mess, but his fans deserve the support. This. Literally so many of you are not reading what she is saying correctly. She doesn't say support Justin and his actions. She is saying to tell his fans to be strong through this media fiasco. Bye 3,947
"Justin and Beliebers were 'born this way' too" What about this? This is the part that irked me the most. Justin was born to drive under influence? Beliebers were born to be insufferable stans that cry after their idol does stupid things? I'm sorry but I don't get it. Prometheus 1,494
The fans aren't supporting his behavior. They are supporting him in hopes his behavior can change. That's a big difference. Imagine if Gaga got caught DUI today. It COULD happen. It could happen to anyone. Would you instantly just abandon her and the fans? The difference is that many horrible acts have led up to this moment. It's not like "Baby" Biebs was being all cute and visiting sick children yesterday and then he was blindsided by a DUI. Spitting on his fans, calling his supporters whales, egging houses, disrespecting Anne Frank, pissing in buckets in public, drag racing, and probably much more we are't even aware of. Yes, Gaga has her vices, and telling us to support a fanbase and their clearly self-destructive icon is one of those vices. This is the face of someone who knows they can get away with everything they have done, which pisses me off. Bye 3,947
Beliebers were born with the same rights to love their favorite artist with the same conditions that the rest of us have, meaning: NO HATE. Of course they have that right. But what support do they need? And what about justin? She said he was born that way too.

Just some kind words since they go through a hard time right now. One of my friends is a big Belieber and I showed her how much #MonstersSupportBelieber was trending and she was really happy to see that and said that it was nice to see something else besides hate for a change. I don't know what Gaga meant regarding Justin. But of course she doesn't defend his actions. Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction? Laceface 2,964
I think Gaga's heart is in the right place and I feel bad for Bieber's fans, but drunk driving is one of the worst crimes anyone can commit. He deserves no support and needs to be locked up for a long time. If Gaga were caught drunk driving, I would say the same about her.

Imagine if Gaga got caught DUI today. It COULD happen. It could happen to anyone. Would you instantly just abandon her and the fans? Sadly I've had too much experience "supporting" someone in a sense of being there for them to help them get back on their feet. Sometimes the best way of support is to let them hit rock bottom and learn first hand what the consequences of their actions are, as hurtful as it is to experience and see. And to further add to that about the Gaga comment, I believe she already did hit rock bottom. Marry the Night was about her rock bottom, and her evolution after the fact. Everyone dropped her, she had bad habits and wasn't only hurting herself but the people around her. She changed so much from that as sad as that video is to see what she went through. comrade 33
this is so cringeworthy she's embarrassing herself, losing her coolness why does she insist on stooping to this level
CannaeDrive 3,412
I miss the rockstar who was so much f*cking cooler than the rest of humanity that she wouldn't debase herself by even uttering the inane teen neologism of "belieber." I'm more offput by the fact that she's starting to talk like a mindless teenage fan than I am about the sentiment she's expressing about this guy who I really couldn't care less about, because, you know, I have better things to do? I try to not even use the word "fanbase" if I can help it, because it's an immediate hint that what I'm saying is absolutely pointless. My thoughts exactly, but I will forgive Gagz this one sidestep and move on to better things I love from her. Bat 6,162
I will never support Justin Bieber, even when Gaga says so, she's not my mother and I find it very strange she's supporting that spoiled brat who DUI, I'm absolutely done with Gaga acting like this dumb. DO/RELEASE NEW THINGS I don't give a **** about what she tweets about Justin Bieber or 1D.
