People who spin out of control like this need the most help because there's obviously something not mentally stable about them. I'm not saying we should congratulate him, i'm saying he needs help. It's not rocket science. If he really wanted help, he should accept the consequences of his actions. If he really has some mental health issue, then he should get himself some help from a professional, not Lil za, zee, or any of his other "friends". Personally, I don't care much about him, but the fact people are defending him for driving under the influence is just ridiculous. Every day around 28 people die due to drunk driving. It's gross to call people "insufferable" just because they don't want to defend some popstar who thinks he's above the law. Also: How will trending #monsterssupportbeliebers or whatever help anyone? Michael Jackson and Briteny and she watched them and she wants the beilebers not to have to go through the same type of pain she did That is EXACTLY what I was thinking. She knows how hard it is to care so much for an artist and to see them get torn apart by press to the point that they go off the deep end. THAT'S ALL. she is not saying to support Justin's action or that they are okay, and she is not saying support his fans delusions of trying to justify what he did. She is saying that we can tell people it's over now and to move on with their lives so his fans can breathe from defending their idol. like i said before, we can't make this easier for his fans, only Justin can by getting his act together. Gaga just wants his fans to know that they are strong and music can keep them together, even if Justin's drama makes it hard for them to. I don't send hate over internet, i think that's a waste of time. But i won't say anything to them about this either. It doesn't affect me, so i won't take part in it. I agree with you. There's no need to hate or support his fans. Come on, it's his life, he is not dying or going to rehab. He isn't in jail because he paid 2,500. It's not the end of the world, there are bigger problems in Ukraine for example. BUT I must say this PromoteKindness and BTW philosophy is getting worse every time. She should start getting her feet on the ground and stop pretending she can change the social media laws with hashtags and "love", there are professionals and theories regarding that subject and I'm not really sure if she knows what she is doing with this behaviour. Internet is a very weird place with arguably rules, and people are discussing these respect/law/Internet Governance topics, but she is talking about this subject with such a naive perspective it drives me nuts. It's inappropriate to support Beliebers because it reinforces the notion that supporting him (and in turn, supporting his attitude), is okay. It's certainly not. Literally nowhere in that post did she say anything about supporting or excusing Justin's actions. She explicitly stated that she wanted support for his fans. You have to remember that Justin is meant to be a role model to his fans, and there are probably a whole lot of his young fans who are confused and disappointed in him in light of recent events. That's who she wants to support. The fans, not Justin. I don't know what it is lately with fans and their tendency to jump to the worst possible conclusions. The people saying "i'm not gonna support justin" or "i can't believe she's supporting drink driving" need to take a step back and think instead of making assumptions in an attempt to look cool on the internet.
