dc1993 1
Oh please, it's about time she called out these lesser b---hes and shaded their ass for copying the Queen. Gaga, now jump on Katy's arse for having a 'pit' on her Prismatic tour. I don't think somebody who frequently references other people in her work has much room to criticize others for doing so. And I also don't believe that that's something Gaga is even interested in doing.
Mariano 958
Remember how Miley was pressed when Gaga arrived with the Horse .. ? and then she commented on that on some article, If Gaga found out about that , and she was like "One second she was a little monster, suddenly she thinks she is competition" maybe that's why she posted that

Donatello 112
Gaga's a hypocrite, shocking. All of that art bull**** spoken in 2013 will backfire on her very hard in 2014 and beyond. Edited January 21, 2014 by Donatello

Kayla 7,595
Miley's teeth: Meant to be funny, a "southern redneck" joke. They're 'Billy Bob Teeth.' There was even a "yall" in the tweet to indicate this. Gaga's teeth: Meant to be a reference to d--g addiction, not a joke. Miley didn't copy Gaga. The fact that she thinks she did is really awful. If Gaga really wanted to call out people "copying" her, she has A LOT of more legitimate options. Even then, after years of us defending her when people drew ridiculous comparison's now she's the one yelling "copycat!"? I support Gaga and I agree people have been ripping her off ever since she got famous, but this is not the way for her to deal with it, nor is it the situation she should try to be calling out. Especially when Miley has continuously spoken so highly of her. I really hope we're all just overreacting and this doesn't mean what we think it does. Mariano 958
I don't think Gaga is that simple-minded ;) well I think you are right .. but Gaga used to keep her comments about artists and that's what I loved ... She never shaded nor complimented other artists because she could stand on her own ... But now suddenly she started complimenting so many artists and also a bit of shade here and there ... Her way of thinking has changed I guess. . . she is no longer 24-25 years old she is 27-28 .. I kinda agree but I feel like we know Gaga well, and she would never do that ... Maybe she was drunk or high
Donatello 112
I've never seen someone tie themselves in such a hypocritical knot. That tweet is the antithesis of "you can't create in a vacuum" and "stop the drama" and "spread positivity" and "how will you use your voice?". I prefer dramaGa over cringe-loveGa any day tho, so please continue to run ARTPOP's messages to the ground and restore your former badass self Edited January 21, 2014 by Donatello
RetroPhysico 748
What kind of impact I guess? And yet ppl call her off as irrelevant. Bitchez, if she's irrelevant, you twitter bs wouldn't cause any unnecessary drama.
Gov Hooka 8,008
Intentions don't make too much of a difference, what really matters is the outcome. I don't think that she was angry or jealous of Miley but she does seem to be insinuating that she is #1, all the pop girls follow what she does and that she is the original while Miley is a copy. That's what that tweet implies and that's a little hypocritical of a woman who keeps saying that women in pop can co-exist and how there is no competition or drama. She is endorsing these sort of comparisons when she makes them herself. Implications arise from intentions though. And ultimately the intention is what matters the most, not the outcome. You can't judge the person based solely on the reactions of others, what matters is why that person posted it, which I think was just a little harmless fun with Mileycus. It's not like Miley is flipping out and making a big deal. They obviously are okay with and respect each other a lot. I'm glad Gaga is lightening up from the cringeworthy promote online kindness because it's okay to lighten up and have fun every now and then. Mills 446
Playful but nowhere near shocking at all to an extent that it'd merit condemnation from this fan base. It's actually surprising to me that some find this tweet or this kind of response from Gaga to be shocking, regardless if she spent half of 2013 with the promote online kindness campaign. This is the same artist who bragged her commercial achievements in the midst of a squabble with the relatively unknown artists. Admiring herself or her works under the disguise of her "impact" on pop culture is one of those things one should expect from Gaga.
Schwerk 7,043
The assumptions people love to make on GGD. How did she shade Miley and what does this have to do with her being on top in the pop world? I see what you mean, but aside from GGD, the GP and media can read it as shade as well because there is seemingly no real reason for Gaga to post the Dope cover again when she already did it a long time ago and it's not even a single. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
