It was sooooo good and I'm from SF so it was very cool seeing and recognizing all of the areas. (I actually lived two blocks away from that pop up restaurant as a kid.) I liked Augustine at first but then that while attitude about his art got annoying and I HATED when he trash talked Ritchie. Ritchie was okay but I honestly like Patrick with Kevin much more. I think the next season we will learn more about Ritchie and learn about his last lovers. And when they were at the park for Doms birthday and Patrick went and talked to Kevin, Ritchie just HAD to go and be nosey. Also at the park when Augustine and Patrick were talking, Ritchie just HAD to go and eavesdrop. like come on and give Patrick his space. Kevin's boyfriend was a jerk, especially not letting him eat fried stuff. And he wasn't that cute. The show is getting buzz now and I think it'd be great if HBO premiered the second season in the Fall since the writers had said they have material for the second season. Idk, Patrick has so much chemistry with Kevin, but Ritchie is really likeable, wonder what will happen next season for them, Kevin did kinda cheat on his boyfriend Don't know what to think about Agustin, I feel like he's the least developed of all the characters and is kinda unlikeable so far, maybe next season with him outside a relationship, we can learn more about him And Dorris stole the show in all of Dom's scenes, I wish I had a friend like her Totally agree with your argumentation! Valextra 58 Posted March 11, 2014 Share Posted March 11, 2014 With a clear mind, I have to say that the s-x scene with Kevin (besides his ass) has disappointed me, I mean after the 's-x' part the atmosphera seemed a little bit cold, Kevin didn' say 'I'll leave my boyfriend, we can be a couple' or a thing like this he simply said 'I don't know', I have the feelings that Patrick will be alone for a while, there wasn't the same chemistry with him like with Richie.. Half because I've wanted that to happen with them for so long, and half because we got to see Russell Tovey's butt. :heart: I wish there had been a more romantic ending for Kevin and Patrick, but I guess they are going to wait until next season to show what happens between them. I can't believe the next season is almost a whole year away :cry: Hopefully the next season will be more than 8 episodes and longer than 30 minutes. Way too short. All in all it's been a great season, and I've grown more and more into it as it's gone on. But also, that scene in the office when Kevin kissed Patrick. Omfg their chemistry is so real it hurts :cry: Richie's a sweet guy, but tbh he is out of Patrick's league just because he's so pessimist and can be so uncharismatic, whereas with Kevin it just works and they bounce off each other. I've thought that since the first time they met. And before people go with the "Oh they became gay stereotypes" because they cheated on their boyfriends. Oh please, it had nothing to do with them being gay. They are just two people who have hidden an attraction from each other for a long time. It could quite have easily been a straight pair. I think he felt guilty for cheating on Richie. Kevin probably felt the same way too. But I think they'll probably be a couple in the next season. I hope it picks up from where it left off and we see their relationship actually begin. Sometimes shows have a tendency to leave it, and then pick up 3-4 months later.
