Following this logic music video to Dark Horse must be a masterpiece because its going to cross 1B views soon Bithday didnt have so many views because the MV was way TOO LONG and thats the main reason. If it was the same ****ty video but shorter it would have +200M views just like TIHWD Bad videos go viral all the time, look at the most watched music videos (Baby, Dark Horse with its cheap green screen, every Pitbull video) Dark Horse wasn't a bad music video. It had a legitimate plot, the same humor Katy has used for years in her past videos, and the song was already a smash before the music video. In other words, the video didn't go viral because of its quality. It went viral because it was the video of a song that was already smashing WW. It's weird that I've heard Elastic Heart 5 times this week on radio yet it's not in the Top 50 yet. I can't go back before 2011, so can only look up these. I don't know about their overall AI peak, but here is for Pop radio. Overall wouldn't be much more. I find a song a true flop if it had plenty of radio and exposure and people still don't buy it. That shows people simply don't like the song.
