As a Rihanna fan, it should upset me that her streak of #1 lead singles since 2010 will likely be over with FFS. After all, it's rare for artists these days to score more than 3 consecutive #1 leads (excluding re-issues, holiday-themed, & hits compilations). And I wanted her to be the one to tie Mariah's record of 6 consecutive #1 leads, or at least get close to it. But whatever. This single is now more successful than Russian Roulette (peaked higher on the HOT100, #1 in AUS, and could easily hit platinum), and that's good enough for me. It's also possible that she could pull another Rude Boy from this new era anyway and get her 14th #1 single on the HOT 100, a tie, if ever, with Elvis Presley's total number ones on the HOT 100 and its direct predecessor (the top 100 from 1955-1958).

she's obviously going to get at least 2 number ones from this era, most likely the next single and I think she can get another one

It Rihanna can get top 5 with an awful song like that, then she has a #1 in the bag if she releases something halfway decent.

Not sure with at least 2 #1s. I'm leaning towards more on at least one or nothing. Her strongest singles from the past three albums have been her leads, and now that her lead for the new album won't likely hit #1, it seems the slimmer her chances of having one then. Loud wouldn't even get 3 #1 hits without pulling some tricks, a discount to Only Girl and a Britney remix for S&M. Will they resort to that again, and even if they do, will it work with ease? One #1, yes, very likely. But two? I'm really just unsure with her getting multiple #1s this year.

Only Girl was discounted? I don't remember that.

Ellie so close to #3! Hope it gets there!

For a brief period, if I remember it correctly. Or unless I've mistaken it for something else. It was also among the main arguments brought up when KP used the discount card for her latter TD singles back when I was active in Billboard.com community.

well how I see it, her next single is going to be her TRUE first single, a conventional Rih song, most likely the best on the album. and If the Rude boy situation happens again, then that's 2
