It's been a long time. Gaga, Katy, Miley, Lorde, and Beyonce all failed with their 2013 albums. Maroon 5 just did it right? Maps, Animals, Sugar all went TOP 10.. If "Style" ever makes it to the top, either through a series of televised performances to tremendously boost sales or by pulling the discount card like BM and KP did to reach the #1 spot, 1989 will be the third album in SoundScan history to score a 3rd #1 hit even after already selling more than 4 million albums (Usher's Confessions album already sold 4.7M when it got its 3rd #1 single in 2004; that album also debuted with 1M+). It'd be one crazy chart achievement for Taylor. So I'm still rooting for her.
