The ratings go up every year, therefore so do the half-time ratings. The thirty-five minute black out seemed to have lowered the 2013 ratings, plus the whole game had lower ratings overall. We are still only talking about a small percentage, when you look at a total viewership of over 100 million people! And I have to say that they are right, I am NOT hating on Katy, it was a fun show, but the whole thing just showed that she is a weak entertainer and that she just doesn't have an amazing voice/ or amazing dancing skills or anything that could prove she is worthy performing there without all the props and everything else around her. Maybe they look at the iTunes charts and see they're cheaper than all other songs. Maybe they went to her iTunes page and Katy's and see that Missy's are cheaper. Anyway, the songs performed already sold a ton. Missy's singles were popular before digital downloading became huge.
