Honestly though, people just like her for her music. It's catchy and applies to the lowest common denominator: anyone can relate to it. So yes she gets those #1s.

But it's not like she is an icon or grabs the kind of crazy following that someone like Gaga has. People go CRAZY for Gaga and follow her everywhere and scream and go crazy just to see her, no matter where she goes. You don't see that kind of thing happening with Taylor or any other contemporary pop b*tch for that matter. In that sense Taylor doesn't have the impact or iconicness Gaga has, just the numbers and sales. And many people like Taylor, they just don't go crazy for her how people do for Gaga.

Gaga is more than just the music. She is a superstar, something her contemporaries can't compare to :classy: :thetea:

Yeah that usually tends to happen when you don't have annoying people defending you on twitter and an army of gay fans. And they have absolutely no point of comparison.

I never knew so many people here felt threatened by the Lord

Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

Hopefully 1989 will revive sales!

Wait...after 21 came, the sales went down drastically. We'll see how this one goes!
