Levine 23,149
I'm pretty sure MJ's songs were everywhere in the top 10, so her record is kinda local. But she's slaying and destroying our faves.

Coop 15,315
How come there's no 1989 Deluxe edition on iTunes?
VforVendetta 2,024
Hope not. But the trend since 2012 isn't promising, especially among female breakthrough acts. 2012 - Carly Rae Jepsen, Call Me Maybe, 9 weeks at #1(+ poor album sales) 2013 - Lorde, Royals, 9 weeks at #1 (+ great album sales) 2014 - Meghan Trainor, All About That Bass, 7 weeks at #1 (album sales yet to be determined, but I'm leaning towards below average due to the current state of overall album sales) Meghan could either repeat 2012 or be lucky and get her own 2010 (Kesha's Tik Tok spent 9 weeks at #1 too and she managed to score 2 more #1s after Tik Tok - one as a lead/solo, also in 2010, and the other as a featured artist for Timber). Lorde is not tha that commercial though and she hasn't released a new album yet. The end of the last Era gave the impression that she is very popular so she may repeat her success with a new better album (I doubt it though simply cause she isn;t commercial) But people dont give a **** about country outside US Which conlcudes to th fact that she is much much less popular outside of the US. Gypsy Life 118,907
How come there's no 1989 Deluxe edition on iTunes? Because in the US, it's exclusive to Target.

SIRE 75
Now that we know 1989 has sold ~600k in one day, do you think Britney's record of 1,314,000 first week sales is safe? Red did ~500k first day and ended up with 1.2 mil Oops also had around 500k first day. What do you think?
Gagz 2,572
I think the 99¢ deal is going to cause understated album sales since they don't count. Because of this, I don't think she'll officially break the record.
