X was the 2nd album by a male solo who scored 3 platinum singles among the 2013-2014 mainstream releases after Eminem's TMMLP2, and it's also the first 2014 album by a male artist to collect 3 million sellers when the album's 3rd single TOL topped 1M by the start of this year.Title / Artist / RTD sales (as of week ending)Thinking Out Loud - Ed Sheeran - 3,740,222 (4/5/15)Don't - Ed Sheeran - 1,784,566 (4/5/15)Sing - Ed Sheeran - 1,323,000 (1/4/15)Both Ed and Sam have a chance at four platinum-plus singles from their latest albums.
