The only difference is that G.U.Y. came after the blackout of a "released" album, while American Oxygen was released before the album (no release date yet).That's worst I think. Mills 446 Posted April 18, 2015 Author Share Posted April 18, 2015 I don't know why I've a hunch that despite all of these under-performing singles from Rihanna, compared to her previous pre-album singles, R8 would hardly tank. Same were thrown against Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint and yet after over just 5 months since its release, the album's nearing to 600k already in Nielsen Music-reported pure album sales. Topping 700k before it reaches a full year of availability seems not that impossible. And I find that not bad, given the sales and chart peaks of the pre-album singles.
