lana has amazing longetivity

it would eb great if she bothered with promo

Ultraviolence deserved so much more, but at least it solidified even more the fact that she doesn't create for the charts. #MusicNotThePromo :lana:

I'm pretty sure Ultraviolence was the first album I ever bought first week. I had my coins in a piggy bank ready to slaughter.

I still wish the album had two more videos. Apparently one for Black Beauty was filmed and that is why a remix EP was released. I think Brooklyn Baby, Money Power Glory, Old Money, and Florida Kilos would've been the best options though. Florida Kilos could've probably gone top 30 if it had a proper video with a d--g dealer daddy. :bunny:

The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 180,000 copies in its first week and is Lambert's first album to reach the top of the Billboard 200.[4] It also marked her fifth consecutive No. 1 debut on the Top Country Albums Chart, making her the first artist in history to start her career with five No. 1 albums.[4] Platinum won the Album of the Year at the Country Music Association Awards in 2014.[5] It won Grammy Award for Best Country Album on February 8, 2015.

Platinum garnered unanimous praise from the ratings and reviews of music critics.[21] The review aggregator website Metacritic assigns a "weighted average" rating out of 100 to the selected independent reviews it utilizes from mainstream critics, and based on eleven reviews the album received a Metascore of an 86, indicating "Universal acclaim".[10]

wtf is this

why is this smashing :air:

It's upbeat, family friendly, and an 80's throwback. It's nothing extraordinary but it's not bad for a radio hit. I don't listen to much upbeat music besides Gaga and Grouplove which is why I probably don't care that much for these forced "have a good time" anthems. The meaning of the song is also super simple which works extremely well for radio. It's "just dance gonna be okay" but without the natural epicness that Gaga and RedOne provided.
