It's like they have set artists that they will wh*re out no matter the song (i.e. Rihanna, Maroon5), but don't may attention to what people really want to hear. LMLYD just made it into the top 10 on iTunes 7 days ago. First of all, since it was from such a big movie, radio needed to see if it was a temporary surge due to the movie, or if listeners were actually into the song. Then, you have to give radio stations a chance to catch up. It takes more than a week to work a song into the playlist to the extent you are looking for. Give it another week, at the least, for all stations to react, catch up and make space for it on their hourly playlists. (Some already have, as it jumped 5 spots in the past few days on Pop radio and its bullet is over 1,000) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
