No one would agree the weekend is the reason of LMH success. Fact it went top 10 after its video release then fell out the other week. The weekend doesn't even have a big fanbase. Starry Eyed and Lights were masterpieces in comparison to what she releases now. My opinion is as irrelevant as yours ... spins are the thing that pushes the song up on the radio if u haven't noticed LMH's overall spins are 6k from which 3.5k comes from Rhytmic so yeah if it wasn't for Rhytmic the song wouldn't be top 10 and Rhytmic spin it because of The Weekend. But anyway, her fans will eat their words and will use her album sales to excuse it from not hitting number 1. SNL could work for her. Anyway, the album is over 4M now, her fastest selling ever. No, it's not just me. I saw other ppl here who also disagreed to you. It's not like Ari didn't have Rhythmic hits before LMH, and you're claiming The Weekend is the reason why it is being played on Rhythmic stations? The FACT that that guy doesn't have even a single number 1 hit on RnB Billboard Chart before LMH. Ariana songs have RnB influence on it that's why Rhytmic stations are eating them. Now, here are Ariana's Rhytmic hit before LMH The Way - #2 Baby I - #18 Right There - #8 Problem - #1 Break Free - #15 Bang Bang - #14 All her songs entered the top 20 of RnB chart of BB. Now, tell me The Weekend's RnB hits before LMH aside from Wicked Games which entered the top 10 of the said chart? I'm pretty sure you cant because you don't even know the guy. You just used him to degrade Ariana's success. At least I'm stating facts so my opinion is far from irrelevant, meanwhile, you absolutely did an invalid opinion. Also, the song has more AI on pop than on Rhytmic. After the video release, the song hit top 7. Even if without the Rhythmic support, the song would still enter the top 10. The song obviously entered the top 10 initially bc of the vid not bc of its radio support. I mean, yeah, the radio support was ofc needed but it wasn't the main reason it entered the top 10.
