I think Gaga can still put on a pretty big performance with tony

If they add an orchestra, have a lot of dancers with big outfits, the glittery curtain, and some bright outfits, things like that.

It can be memorable and be along side her previous 2 GRAMMY performances as being career headlining, without the shock value that is unlikely with the genre.

Plus, her red carpet can still be memorable with an old fashioned car, a big beautiful dress, things like that. I think some fans are being too quick to dismiss it as boring and safe just because its C2C promo

this isnt shocking but its memorable because it was edgy but beautiful. I can see her going down that route. She did it with the H&M appearance with Tony in NYC.

How long is the Grammys? 3 hours right? I'm worried she won't be televised due to how many other people are performing.

I agree with everything you said though.

better this time she does read carpet @ the Grammys. AMA 2013 was her last red carpet at award show and we all know how she usually sneaks when the show start or go too early :madge:

the fact that in 2011 the only red carpet we had for the whole BTW era was the Grammy performance and she showed in egg there and with ARTPOP we only had 2 red carpets ... Gaga sis it's time :madge:

Her performance will be aired. Everyone on the performers list will have their performance aired so there's no worrying about that.

They usually present about 9 awards during the actual show.

1. Album of the year

2. Song of the year

3. Record of the year

4. Best pop vocal album

5. Rock Song category

6. Rap Category

7. Best New Artist

8. Pop Duo/Group

9. Country category

I'd expect that

it's not irelevant

5x? :toofunny:

Maybe in France.

Definitely not 5x in the US, Canada, UK, ..

And I'm talking radio AND sales wise.

Not even close. It was about twice as big as Applause WW and about the same if not less impactful than Applause in the US and Canada

I mean it sold 600k less than Applause in the US and it had 50M less AI on radio and didn't even go Top 10 on airplay.

You can't measure impact, as there is no operational definition. But you can measure sales and airplay and the numbers say it wasn't as impactful as Applause in the US.

And if we're going to just throw out random statements that can't be backed up with evidence I'll say that I have literally never heard anyone mention the song in my life. On the other hand I've heard many people mention applause during its single run.

what was applause radio peak? did it reach 100 million al?

130M

:lmao:

if chandelier had more airplay it would have outsold applause

impact is not measured with chart positions and airplay  :smh:  more people know chandelier

it crossed 500 million mark

and applause is barely at 200 m

chandelier had more impact everywhere /discussion

I think he just doesn't know what impact is

And what a viral video is

Anyway, Applause was big as ****. It was literally everywhere, but the roar mess just overshadowed it ;(

Why laugh at the bold when you threw out 2 statements that you could not support at all.

Anyways like I said, impact cannot be measured. You're basically saying that impact isn't measured by numbers yet you used the number of views to support your argument. That makes no sense at all. But anyways /discussion
