Can someone explain to me the Billboard streaming points rule?  :flop:

Every week BB counts the streaming of an album(that includes that streaming for all the song+singles from the album) on various streaming platforms such as Spotify it's called SEA then they divide that number by 1500 and they add the TEA and then they add it to the album's sold copies for that week

It's much more fun to have hizophrenia... u never get lonely

Does this also apply to Billboard Latin charts? Paulina Rubio is releasing her new single very soon, so if the song is streamed enough, and the video has enough views, will the song have a decent chart position?

:awkney:

No, streaming doesn't apply to genre charts. Only the Hot100 and Billboard 200.

I totally forgot he is performing too :smh: Poor Rihanna, bad timing tbh..(or simply bad song :teehee: )

Both. Bad timing if they're aiming for a #1, and bad single choice as well if that's their intention with this song, which I doubt from the moment it's been revealed as a collaboration with Paul McCartney. It's either pure genius of them trying to end the notion of Rihanna's only here for the #1 hits, or too naive to think the star-studded collab would give this bland song an edge over the current hit songs on radio.

Ed has a chance to become this year's John Legend. A striking performance could make this song bigger than it already is, and that's to become #1 in multiple Billboard charts.

Yeah, I totally agree..

But 45S definitely made me curious about the rest of the album!

Why so much performers ?

$$$$$

They want ratings. And the more high profile artists that are nominated, the more that will watch.
