2013 was definitely Beyonce's year tbh... She slayed, even though it was relatively short..

who isn't

Honestly I'm quite surprised I thought she would have sold at least 20-25k copies. She was quite high on Itunes...

It was also released on a Thursday. She probably would have done 15-20K if it were a full week.

Oops... Didn't realize this was the Gaga thread

HDD: Taylor 225K, Foo Fighters 200K, Pink Floyd/Garth 140K
ORACULAR SPECTACULAR: Based on early, early sales, it appears that Foo Fighters (Roswell/RCA) will score the week’s top debut at about 200k. Pink Floyd (Columbia) and Garth Brooks (Pearl/RCA Nashville) are on a collision course for the runner-up slot, with each trending toward 140k. These numbers all but assure that Taylor Swift will spend a third week at #1. Her previous album, Red, experienced a third-week decay of 43% which, if 1989 follows a similar trend, suggests a total somewhere around 225k. Keep in mind, however, there’s always some uncertainty surrounding Monday projections, and things could look very different tomorrow morning.

go, taylor

its true she had succes but it was more Katy's year imo with the massive Roar, PRISM, unconditionally and Dark Horse everywhere even if it wasnt a single

Beyonce did well but it was only the album, while katy had singles succes and a lot of presence imo :)
