EastonEllis 1
Listening to her performance of 'Dope' on Howard Stern right now. So, so good.
teo 609
Oh come on, just look at some foreign pop stars who never make it but and are on,y known by a few thousands. The little sponsorships they gain is enough for them to make their fans happy. Gaga's big enough to rely on herself to release music. She won't be as big but that's not a bug deal. You're so right! In Europe we have a lot of successful acts that are not big in America, but they still manage to do nice music videos and performances. Even in the smallest countrys like mine we have singers that do music the same way US artist do it, but in a smaller scale of course. Just because something is made for $5mil(for example) doesn't mean it can't be done with a lot less. I'm pretty sure you will never know the difference too. Gaga is way to big for people to just forget her. Hell she can go and do 10 shows in Japan and she'll have enough money for 3 more eras.... :haha:
thatfoxyfeeling 13,006
just because someone does a good thing doesn't mean you should forever be grateful and let them dictate the way you do stuff. Besides they accepted her not out if the goodness of their hearts but because they predicted she could get them a lot of dollars... Predicted? They took a gamble and it paid off. Thebeachhouse55 1
Guys, we can't know for sure what the actually problem is and what she really is talking about. Yeah it could be about Interscope, but it could also be something else. Keep calm! + to those of you who think you know better how she should manage her career, stop. EastonEllis 1
Should we trend something on Twitter?
craig 680
I'm not saying she has to be happy all the time, but I do wish she would express her feelings differently. Through her music and artistry that is, not with rants on Twitter and LM. What if her label then refuses yo include the song on the album or accept the video she produced? Money isn't all that it's chalked up to be. Or look at bjork's Mutual Core video Yep she has enough money, talent, will, and fame to get through on her own. exoskeleton123 6
"all these record label boring, i don't trust these record labels" - Beyonce. Even QUEEN BEY isnt safe :( Lord knows columbia records is telling beyonce what type of music to make the problem well for them, is that beyonce just doesn't give a ****. She makes what she likes and if they don't like it then two effin bad these record labels need To understand that they are merely a receiver of a gift the gift of the artist and their music and that it should not be the other way around which it unfortunately is. As a music student at college I have friends who have been signed and dropped from several record labels mostly jazz and a few pop like universal music and sony and when I tell you I've heard horror stories about the label intervening. The label tells them to change their whole image to just for with what is popular and then when the artist stands up to the label and tries to maintain their artistic integrity, they are dropped. It's crazy. Edited January 5, 2014 by exoskeleton123

Bye 3,947
Predicted? They took a gamble and it paid off. Yes but I'm sure they weighed their options just like def jams did and those decided to drop her.

Weasel 12,525
She deals with stuff this way, you'll have to deside for yourself if YOU can deal with it too. I can, but that doesn't mean I'm not allowed to express my feelings about this. You can easily just unfollow her on Twitter and not tune in for the LM rants. I could, just like Gaga could in terms of negativity from others. The funny thing is she can only release music as allowed by her label. I doubt they'd let her rang about them in a song released to the masses Shady song like Swine could do the job too
thatfoxyfeeling 13,006
Yes but I'm sure they weighed their options just like def jams did and those decided to drop her. Interscope gave her a chance and allowed her to be creative.
Bye 3,947
Interscope gave her a chance and allowed her to be creative. That was back then. She might feel differently now.
