I said that the staff is not the only thing that they have to spend money on. Β She cannot be as huge without the big backing of the record label's ability to do advertising, product tie-ins, promotions, etc. due to them spending hundreds of millions of dollars that Gaga doesn't have. Β I work in the entertainment industry as marketing and PR working mostly with video games and lesser known musical acts, so I do know what I'm talking about here. Oh sorry I didn't understand it. Well yeah she wouldn't be able to have that much traditional advertising if she's not with interscope that's for sure. But if people are here for her music it's all that matters in the end. If you're in the ad business you know that sometimes no matter how big the promotion for some product is it can "flop". It can be anything, not just a singer. Her happiness should be more important than her success and the money she's bringing in for interscope. Where's the receipts though? All I'm seeing is people going after Interscope with no merit. Yeah, of course that her label helped in the first steps of her career, they may have changed their ideas and opinions about her music and her attitude, we don't know what is happening behind the closed doors. Surely blaming interscope is not reaching, I'm sure she's not referring to Capitol. And she's also mentioned something about the fame monster which we all know is the dark side of fame. And the bad part comes from the suits up there with their focus on money. I'm not saying she has to be happy all the time, but I do wish she would express her feelings differently.
